Free High-Interest Short Story for High School Students

 "Heartbreak and Hair Weave" is the first story in the Ocean City High Series.  It is FREE for a limited time so check it out.

This story was created for reluctant readers (9th grade and 10th grade students).

Plot: When Harrison unexpectedly breaks up with Emma, she decides to remove her weave and colored contacts.

Note: Within the lesson, there is a link to an editable version (Google Doc) of the questions and vocabulary activities that go along with the story.

This story includes:
